Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving at the beach with Mr. Broome's family. It was the best time. The weather was perfect. Highlights from the trip: perfect running weather- I got a 7miler in on Thanksgiving morning(woo hoo, pass that homemade macaroni over, please and thank you!), deep sea fishing on Swept Away(minus the nausea), catching the first and biggest Red Snapper the day I went out, not too early morning black Friday shopping, $20 Judith March dress sale, getting to know my Aunt Linda, taking pictures, beach sunsets, and of course... snuggling Mr. Broome.
(Me, the first Mrs. Broome, and my sis-in-law:)
I told Mr. Broome that my most favorite part of the trip was getting in bed early every night. Two nights in a row we were in bed by nine. It's so nice to get in bed all snuggly when you don't have to be anywhere the next day.
Mr. Broome, the once was mountain main- seen here as the fisher man. He is so handsome and manly in his boat. His smell though.... after a day of fishing, there is nothing nice about that smell.
Oh sunset.
Love a good sunset just like a good rainbow.
I have more pictures to post later, but this was all I had time for.
It is officially Christmas time! Do you know what that means?
My table is already set with Christmas china.

It's been a while since this weekend, but I loved the trip so much I couldn't forget to share.
Our humble abode for the weekend. Humble and piney.
Dear Mr. Broome,
You look right at home, you mountain man. Look at you, you are the man of that mountain moose chair.
This grizzly bear Betsy looks right at home too. She quickly found her seat.
Oh man, can we move to the mountains? We really did discuss how wonderful it would be to have this view everyday.
I don't think I could be more in love with fall's colors.

There is absolutely no good reason why this house shouldn't be mine. Mr. Broome and I discussed all of our life options while looking at the pretty mountain homes. Does he want to be a lifetime fisher man, living on the beach, and having regular run in's with Jose Wegebe? Or does he want to live in the mountains, breathing the cold air as he chops wood and keeps his little lady(that's me) away from big ole bears?

We most definitely went hiking.
That was our BIG goal for the weekend, other than insano snoogling of course.
However, insano snoogling took precedence.
Pictures above are me and Mr. Broome foe hiking. We really just went for a stroll from the cabin. Don't get me wrong though, it was a long, hilly stroll.

When we became exhausted from snoogling, we found a puzzle. Mr. Broome and I worked hard at it for a couple of hours, but eventually pooped out....

and baked brownies..
Oh man. That's all.
